Garbage Pick-Up:
Weekly pick-up.

City of East Moline is the garbage hauler.

Holiday Garbage Collection Schedule:
Please check your news-paper, the City website at www.eastmoline.com or call the Maintenance Services office for the holiday schedule.

Yard/Landscape Pick-Up:
Yard/bundled branch waste will be collected from the curbside. Yard waste stickers and brush ties must be purchased. Brush cuttings must be four feet long or less, and three inches or less in diameter. Bagged or tied yard waste should be placed at the curbside on Wednesdays. Yard waste collection will be made from April 1st through November 30th of each year. Call (309) 752-1573 for purchasing information and for cost of branch waste collection.


Burning Regulations:
Residents may burn leaves on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturdays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Bulky Waste:
Special pickups are available for large bulky items that cannot go in garbage cans or bags for regular garbage collection. Please call the Maintenance Services office at (309) 752-1573 to schedule a special pickup or for more information. Special pickup services shall be provided up to four times per calendar year for a prepaid fee of $10 per collection. Each pickup shall be one large truck or less.

Recycling Options:
Residents can recycle using the countywide drop-off sites; refer to Drop-Off Sites and Guidelines.
East Moline hosts one drop-off site located at: 901 Avenue of the Cities, at Fire Station.
