Garbage Pick-Up:
Weekly pick-up, with one special pick-up during the second week of the month.

Prairie Waste is the contracted hauler.

Two garbage cans or bag limit. $1.25 sticker for each additional can or bag.

Holiday Garbage Collection Schedule:
Please check your newspaper or call City Hall for the holiday schedule.

Yard/Landscape Pick-Up:
Yard waste bags are
collected from the curbside. Yard waste bags and
stickers must be purchased.

Burning Regulations:
Yard waste burning is only allowed on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from dawn to dusk.

Bulky Waste:
Currently there is a monthly pick-up program available.
The City holds a Spring Clean-Up week each year at no additional cost to the residents. Call (309) 792-9181 for information.

Recycling Options:
A weekly curbside recycling program is currently available.
Residents may also use the countywide drop-off sites; refer to Drop-Off Sites and Guidelines.

What can I put in the Recycling Bin?
Cardboard, paper, #1 & #2 plastics, tin cans, and glass bottles (brown, green, and clear).
